PENGASUTAN MOTOR INDUKSI TIGA PHASA PADA PENGEMBANGAN INSTALASI TENAGA DAN INSTALASI PENERANGAN DI BENGKEL LISTRIK

Abstract

Abstract The use of an induction motor in an electrical power generation system is needed where the usefulness of an induction motor is as driving. Constraints on the use of an induction motor is at the time of starting. That is because the starting current that occurs in a very large induction motors. To fix the starter is needed so that later no damage equipment and interfere with the electrical system. Motors that will be analyzed is the motor in an electric workshop. Because of the breadth of the induction motors use a lot done various studies to improve the performance of an induction motor. Among the many studies that include about motor starting method. Some traditional induction motor starting methods include the DOL (Direct On Line), Y- Δ, autotrafo, and the primary resistor. The method used in the motor starting in the workshop is the starting DOL and star-delta starting. Keywords : DOL, star-delta, induction motor Abstrak Penggunaan motor induksi didalam suatu sistem kelistrikan pembangkit listrik sangat dibutuhkan dimana kegunaan dari motor induksi adalah sebagai penggerak. Kendala dari penggunaan motor induksi adalah pada saat starting. Hal tersebut dikarenakan arus starting yang terjadi pada motor induksi sangat besar. Untuk mengatasinya diperlukan starter agar nantinya tidak merusak peralatan dan mengganggu sistem kelistrikannya. Motor yang akan dianalisa adalah motor pada bengkel listrik. Karena begitu luasnya penggunaan motor induksi maka banyak dilakukan berbagai penelitian untuk meningkatkan unjuk kerja dari motor induksi. Diantara banyaknya penelitian itu diantaranya adalah tentang metode starting motor. Beberapa metode starting tradisional motor induksi diantaranya adalah DOL (Direct On Line), Y- Δ, autotrafo, dan primary resistor. Metode starting yang digunakan pada motor di bengkel adalah dengan pengasutan DOL dan pengasutan star-delta. Kata kunci : DOL, star-delta, motor induksi
