Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the use of social media in media advertising in the 23rd National Technology Awakening Day event. Data collection is carried out by using reference tracing methods related to the advertising process for organizing an event. Descriptive analysis was carried out to see the use of social media in media advertising which took place in the 23rd National Technology Awakening Day event which refers to the theory of advertising and social media on the implementation of an event. From the results of this study, the authors found obstacles that had an impact on the promotion of the event, but it can be seen the suitability of implementation in the field with the theory of advertising.
