Abstrak

Kampung Setaman, located in RW 07, Ratu Jaya Subdistrict, Depok, is one of the exemplary climate villages that has a work program for greening and environmental management such as waste management, food, and energy resilience alike. Almost all of these work programs have been implemented voluntarily, except for the energy resilience work program involving the utilization of new and renewable energy sources due to the relatively high investment costs. To accommodate this, providing renewable energy as the power source for street lights in Setaman Village is advisable. The community service aims to address the issue by implementing solar power street lighting with an automatic control system. Three (3) points of public street lighting are installed using solar cell sources. The lighting control is done automatically using a microcontroller based on sunlight and traffic density. The brightness of the lights can be dimmed according to needs to save battery usage. Testing of the performance of public street lighting is carried out by testing the output of the solar cell system, as well as the automatic performance of the lighting. The results of the questionnaire feedback on the benefits of the program for residents show that 93 percent of residents agree that the presence of solar power street lighting opens up awareness among residents that solar energy can be converted into electrical energy. Residents also wish the program to be continued further to promote electricity savings and support energy resilience programs.

Kampung Setaman merupakan salah satu percontohan Kampung iklim (Proklim) yang mempunyai program kerja penghijauan dan penataan lingkungan, pengelolaan sampah, ketahanan pangan dan energi, serta kegiatan masyarakat lainnya yang mengarah pada ketahanan masyarakat terhadap perubahan iklim. Hampir semua program kerja tersebut telah dilaksanakan secara swadaya, terkecuali program kerja ketahanan energi berupa pemanfaatan sumber energi baru dan terbarukan karena kendala biaya investasi yang cukup mahal. Kondisi penerangan pada lampu jalan umum pada Kampung Setaman sebagian besar masih menggunakan sumber PLN yang diambil dari rumah masyarakat terdekat sehingga membebani tagihan listrik masyarakat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan PS-TOLI berupa Pemasangan PJU-PLTS dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Tiga (3) titik lampu penerangan jalan umum dipasang dengan memanfaatkan sumber dari PLTS. Pengendalian lampu dilakukan secara otomatis menggunakan mikrokontroler berdasarkan pada cahaya matahari dan kepadatan lalu lintas. Cahaya lampu dapat di dimmer sesuai kebutuhan untuk menghemat penggunaan baterai. Pengujian terhadap kinerja PJU-PLTS dilakukan dengan menguji keluaran sistem PLTS, serta kinerja otomatis dari lampu penerangan. Selain pemasangan lampu penerangan jalan, pelatihan terkait pengetahuan Energi Baru dan Terbarukan serta pemeliharaan lampu jalan juga dilaksanakan untuk Masyarakat kampung setaman. Harapannya Masyarakat dapat termotivasi untuk memanfaatkan PLTS sebagai alternatif energi listrik.
