PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA BERBASIS KEUNIKAN PENDUDUK LOKAL DI WILAYAH BANTEN (STUDI DI WILAYAH BADUY)

Industri pariwisata kini lebih terarah pada kegiatan industri yang mengutamakan keberlangsungan wilayah wisata. Kondisi ini terjadi setelah pemerintah menyadari adanya dampak negatif dari kegiatan pariwisata pada suatu sumber daya alam. Kerusakan alam menjadi salah satu dampak negatif yang paling terlihat sebagai akibat dari kegiatan industri pariwisata.
Pengembangan pariwisata dengan konsep keberlangsungan menjadi salah satu agenda pemerintah guna meningkatkan pariwisata dan menekan dampak negatif yang timbul. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah adalah dengan membangun model Konservasi dan Pembangunan Terpadu (Integrated Conservation and Development Project/ICDP) atau Sistem Kawasan Lindung Terpadu (Integrated Protected Area System/IPAS).
Suku Baduy merupakan salah satu bentuk konservasi yang keberadaannya bukan atas inisiatif pemerintah, akan tetapi karena adanya adat istiadat yang secara turun temurun diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi membuat suku Baduy memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Pemerintah menetapkan kawasan tempat tinggal suku Baduy sebagai sistem kawasan lindung terpadu guna melindungi tatanan yang telah tercipta selama ratusan tahun.

Abstract

The tourism industry is now more focused on industrial activity that promotes the sustainability of tourist areas. This condition occurs after the government is aware of the negative impacts of tourism activities on a natural resource. The destruction of nature became one of the most visible negative impacts as a result of the activities of the tourism industry.
The development of tourism with the concept of sustainability to be one of the government's agenda to increase tourism and suppress negative impacts. One of the efforts made by the government is to build a model of integrated conservation and development (Integrated Conservation and Development Project / ICDP) or Integrated Protected Areas System (Integrated Protected Area System / IPAS).
Baduy tribe is one form of conservation whose existence is not at the initiative of the government, but because of the tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation makes Baduy tribe has its own uniqueness. The government sets a residential area Baduy tribe as an integrated system of protected areas in order to protect the order that has been created for hundreds of years.
